Data We Collect

Account and profile information (name, contact details, address, date of birth), care preferences, emergency contact / next-of-kin details (name, phone, relationship), care logs authored by Carers, metadata of in-app audio calls (timestamps and call status), payment metadata processed by Stripe, and safeguarding documentation (DBS certificates) uploaded by Carers.

How We Use It

To operate the platform, match Clients with Carers, route emergency alerts to next-of-kin, process payments, facilitate secure in-app audio calls, verify identity and DBS status, and comply with our legal obligations.

Sharing

With Carers you hire, with Care Circle members you invite, with Stripe for payments, with our SMS gateway for alerts, and with our sub-processors (hosting, email, and WebRTC calling providers). We never sell your data.

Retention

• Bookings and financial records: 7 years.
• Care logs: as long as the booking exists plus 12 months.
• DBS documents: until superseded or 24 months, whichever is shorter.
• Emergency contacts and call logs: deleted 30 days after account closure.
